I'm pleased to announce that JeremyLego is this month's winner with his sleek castle-space mashup, The Quillion.
This was a very tough call -- especially with MadBillyBlack's inspired and totally original Escherian Planetoid in the mix. I went back and forth a lot between Jeremy and MadBilly on this one. In the end, it was the seamless integration of Jeremy's chosen themes that tipped the scales. I also have to give special mention to Almaxr, who gets big points for working in the most obscure and forgotten theme (for me, anyway) with his Throwbot mashup. Thanks to everyone who entered -- looking forward to getting back to building for the March challenge. GA

Since a) February is a short month, and b) I have a very hectic weekend ahead, so I wouldn't have time to do any judging until Monday anyway...
I'd like to extend the submission deadline for the February challenge through Sunday, March 2. This will give everyone the weekend to build, instead of rushing for a Friday deadline. Basically, any submissions in the challenge gallery by the time I first log in Monday morning will be considered legit. I hope everyone will take advantage of this and get more submissions in! If anyone has any objections to this extension, let me know (I realize that this eats a couple days into the March challenge). Good building, Green-Arrow

This year is going to be pretty busy for me, (at least until June) but I'll try and enter the monthly challenge whenever i get time. However, this challenge looked really fun, and I've got a new camera, so I just had to enter!

i have had a few ideas for this challenge, but my "not so ample" amount of legos limits me. I've been spending a lot of time on gamezone and lost wiki, I've just become to distracted for brickiwiki lately. I don't know what's gotten into me, but i've been a bad member. Brickiwiki, its not you, its me. Its me. I've been thinking things a user should not think, and I'll admit it, I have been view ing other wikis. Oh i'm so sorry! :'(
