April, 2007 Challenge |
Design and build a multi-environment vehicle. This will be a vehicle that can traverse two or more environ-ments. As examples, consider amphibious vehicles and those that can navigate the high-ways and sky-ways. Let's not forget such environs as subterranean, trans-dimensional, and my personal favorite, space. Now, a fighter that can cross from the atmosphere to space doesn't count...that's too easy, but one that can drill through a planet's crust and cross galaxies...that's hot stuff! |
| Grand Prize will be a rendered graphic of your MOC in each of it's environments! (Graphic will be designed at 1024 X 768) |

This was a tough run-off between Almaxr and Bardolf. A mobile Viking ship-base is a scary thing. I can just see those marauding berserkers hanging from the rigging and shouting obscenities while trundling over the farms of the oppressed. I thought Reaper's was very well executed but the amphibious qualities just didn't leap out at me.
What sold me on Al's was the suspension and the hull. This vehicle reminds me of a WWII schwimwagon that's been updated for the 21st century and revisited. Good job guys. I can't wait to start on the desktop image. |

Great entries! I may be judging this month since Amy seems to be totally baby-busy. If so, I'll have the results by this friday. Then, I can get started on the winner's pic. I'm looking forward to it, especially with these awesome entries.
